OUR EQUIPMENT FOR THE NEUTRALIZATION OF BAD SMELLS

Function of the Fog Systems

  • A small nozzle – an atomizer – creates the fog. The nozzle, which is about as big as the tip of the little finger, is embedded in a stainless steel adapter, which is welded onto a 12 mm stainless steel pipe. Before water reaches the nozzle orifice it goes through a series of filters. The clean water that comes through is put through a high-pressure pump with 50 bar, before it reaches the nozzle. When the filtered water finally reaches the nozzle orifice it is broken into droplets of about 10 microns size. What is 1/10 of the diameter of a human hair.
  • Placed on the high-pressure side of the pump is a high-pressure regulator with overflow to control the pressure between 40 and 50 bar. A high-pressure hose combines the pump with the stainless steel pipe as a flexible connection.
  • The SS-pipe 12 x 1 mm is connected with SS-coupling, SS-T and SS-angles 90° and services is a controlled by either control panel, remote control or computer.
  • On the end of the feeding line are fog cannons, nozzle pipes, nozzle rings or clusters.

Advantages of Fog Systems

  • The Fog Systems serve as dust control without be wetting the ground and material.
  • The water droplets (7 – 10 microns) have very low surface-tension and connect without the use of tensides or orange oil easily with dust particles.
  • Low water consumption approx. 5l/h per nozzle at 40 bars.
  • Low energy consumption in comparison with air pressure systems approx. 4 – 6 kW/h per unit for dust control.
  • Fog takes the static (electric load) out of the air, what keeps dust from staying floatable.
  • Fog creates a better working environment by cooling down heat through evaporation and protecting the mucous membranes on people from draying out when working in dust areas.

Technology

  • The FOG-Systems are used for dust-suppression with almost no bewetting of material and machinery.
  • With 40-60 bar water pressure and special laser drilled nozzles water droplets of 7-10 micron are created.
  • These small particles have a very low surface tension and connect with dust particles immediately.
  • With nozzle pipes and FOG-Cannons, the fog is transported to the dust source. Nozzle pipes are used successfully where ever falling material causes dust which will be balanced out by the FOG-Cannons blowing into the material.

Operations

  • Through a tap-water feeding pipe the water goes through 3 Filters (1 Prefilter and 2 Microfilters) which are located in the Central Unit into the water tank. A mechanical float valve regulates the water level.
  • On the bottom of the water tank is an outlet for the feeding hose for the high pressure pump.
  • The high pressure pump compresses the water to 50 bars. A pressure regulator on the high-pressure side of the pump enables a manual control to increase or decrease the pressure. An integrated overflow valve leads excess water by overflow hose back into the water tank.
  • Connected to the pressure regulator is a 3/8“ high pressure hose as a flexible connection to the high press pipe.
  • High pressure pipes are made of stainless steel 12 x 1 mm which are connected together with couplings, cutting ring T and cutting ring angles. All made out of stainless steel.
  • High pressure pipes are the feeding pipes to the FOG-Cannons and Nozzle pipes and lead to the various fogging areas.
